A Story To Cherish

These are the people who matter the most to me. You’ll read about them in my posts, so let me introduce the starring roles in my life.

Mr. Mogwai

Simply put: my fiancé, my best friend, my partner in crime, my love, my everything. We’ve been together for nearly 3 years and living together for nearly 2. He’s always there for me, good or bad, day or night. He plays guitar and bass. I can’t imagine where I would be now if I hadn’t met him one random night in 2008. He knows exactly how to make me smile, even when it feels like the world is falling apart.

MOH LF

This girl is seriously my other half. She is going to be my maid of honor! I met her when I was 15 years old. We got into trouble together… a lot. Luckily, we both decided that it was time to grow up and start creating lives for ourselves. Now she’s in San Francisco going to college and living her dreams. I’m so proud of her even though I miss her all the time. I love her to death.

BM LL

The friendship that LL and I share is one that really can’t be explained or described. Its a sense of mutual understanding that though we lead different lives and have our own views on most topics, we appreciate each other for exactly who we are, with no expectations to live up to or strings attached. I know that no matter what, she will remain a very important part of my life for many years to come. She’s gotten me through some of the toughest times of my life. I couldn’t ask for a better friend.

GM Feisty

Feisty is the lead singer of the Feisty Piranhas, the band Mr. Mogwai was in when we met. I met Feisty on Mr. Mog and I’s first date, and we quickly formed a friendship I have come to depend upon more than I could ever put into words. He is the most amazing person I’ve ever met. Even though he was born with physical disabilities, he is so incredibly comfortable with who he is. He inspires me.
